Step 01

Detailed Initial Assessment

Your care begins with a comprehensive assessment of your medical background, lifestyle, previous treatment experiences, and the factors affecting your health and weight. This helps your clinician develop an individualised plan tailored to your needs.

Step 02

Personalised Support

Support is shaped around key areas important for health, including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and adaptive skills. The focus is on realistic, lasting behavioural goals rather than restrictive or “all or nothing” approaches.

Step 03

Flexible Follow-Up

There is no fixed pathway. Follow-up appointments are arranged collaboratively between you and your clinician, depending on your needs, goals, and what feels sustainable over time.

Step 04

Designed Around Health Gain

This approach may be used as a stand-alone intervention or alongside obesity treatments such as medication or surgery. The aim is to improve metabolic, physical, and psychological health, as well as quality of life.

Programme Director, CORU Registered Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist

The MBW Health service is directed by Josh Percival, an experienced Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. Josh graduated with two first-class honours degrees in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as Exercise Physiology.

Josh is passionate about the holistic care of individuals living with obesity and overweight and has a wealth of experience in improving health outcomes for these patients.
